La cosa più letale penso sia quel "un comandante di corpo d'armata si confuse e ordinò all'artiglieria di aprire il fuoco". Mi è venuta in mente una scena di rissa tipo Looney Tunes in cui Willie E. Coyote si getta nella mischia a bordo di un razzo.
Questo spiega perchè, nonostante tutto, abbiamo impiegato un buon 300 anni (parto dal 1600, quando l'esercito ottomano non era esattamente il migliore del mondo) a far arretrare i turchi dall'Europa .
